I met Wes while working for the Toledo Opera. Wes was studying at the University of Michigan at the time, and that was just up the road from me. So, while making a visit to see his teacher (and my singing mentor), Steve Lusmann, I met Wes through mutual friends.
I ran into him again at the Seagle Music Colony the following summer, when I was visiting the Colony to discuss choosing a headshot photographer and what makes a good headshot.
Wes has been quickly moving up the ladder in the opera world. In addition to his great gigs, he has been mentioned on the popular opera blog Opera Chic, and his head shot (left) was called yummy!
